Description
Hohner 2 row in it’s original tuning of F/Bflat. This is one of Hohner’s top models from the 1930s. It is pokerwork size and shape in black with gold laurel leaf design and metal topped keyboard. I restored and improved this in 2017 with a full reed overhaul and tune, new pallet facings, bushed bass buttons and limited travel on the treble buttons. F/Bflat is the lowest production pitch and is a tone below GC. It has a beautiful rich sonorous sound quality and is a remarkably responsive for such a low pitched instrument.
Comes with a good quality hard case and a Mally strap.
This instrument is from the collection of the late Steve Harrison. I maintained Steve’s melodeons for a good number of years and I’m now doing a last service for him by arranging the sale of his melodeons.
