Description
This is a late 1920s Hohner Club II with it’s original CF reeds. This is the older model with screws in the centre of the buttons, and wooden treble action. It bears the signs of a century or so of playing but it has been sensitivity restored with the original finish. It’s had the reeds re-waxed and valved a few years ago and I have just completed some cosmetic work, de-clubbing and a full retune. It has new pallet facings in the bass end. The original treble side pallets are still airtight and quiet in play.
This is a lovely player. The reeds are smooth and responsive with the old Hohner sound.
