Acadian by Marc Savoy one-row four- stop cajun accordion in G voiced LMMH. The MM reeds are tuned for a light swing.
This is a superb instrument – loud and responsive right down to the lowers notes. The reeds are Binci Professional a mano.
The timber is maroon-stained cherry, with brass fittings, pallets and buttons; blackwood stops with abalone shell inserts.
The thirds and sixths are tuned about 5 cents flat from ET (compared with 15 cents for typical Cajun tuning) so right hand chords are sweet but the overall tuning is compatible the other instruments.
