DG 2.5 row 14 bass built on a course run by Emmanuel Pariselle in London in 2012 and now this example is available to buy. Case is nicely figured French Walnut, reeds are Voci Armoniche a mano – the same reeds as used in most Castagnari boxes. Tuning is a 2Hz swing with a beautiful bell like sound quality. On the left the chords have no thirds, and the basses each have two reeds. The bass layout has a conventional 12 bass pattern with two additional buttons that play basses only making the basses chromatic, great for playing bass lines. Treble bass balance is excellent. The treble side is third button start with low G scale and rows of 10/9/6 buttons.
Note layout is;
